JPG Magazine

Derek Powazek and Heather Champ have just announced JPG Magazine:

JPG Magazine is for people who love imagemaking without attitude. It’s about the kind of photography you get when you love the moment more than the camera. It’s for photographers who, like us, have found themselves online, sharing their work, and would like to see that work in print.

The first issue will be published in November. If you’re a photographer, we are accepting submissions the first issue. The theme: Origin. Subscriptions will be available soon.

It seems these two bastions of the online world are once more embracing the tangible domain of print. And they are not the only ones; Cristina Wodtke recently posted on her envy of the finely crafted flyers recently appearing through her door. Perhaps these forays into paper and gloss are becoming a trend?
